As one of the web’s leading purveyors of The Hills gossip, we admittedly weren’t too crazy about Audrina Patridge when we first got to know her. We pegged her for a Kristin Cavallari-like alpha girl - not a positive presence in LC’s life.

We thought she wasn’t being too genuine at times, and wasn’t super nice to Lauren Conrad. But in Season 2, the two got to be pretty close friends, with Audrina even moving into her apartment during The Hills season finale.
Here, they’re seen at the Celebrity Grand Slam Paddle Jam, an event that drew many hip young stars together. It’s cool that Audrina Patridge and LC seem to be building a real friendship.
As for Lauren’s ex-BFF and roomie, Heidi Montag, she wasn’t there. Not sure where she was instead, but it probably involved staged, nauseating pictures with boyfriend Spencer Pratt.

Yeah. The Hollywood Gossip thinks Lauren is better off with Audrina and her other pals, such as Whitney Port and the possibly-engaged Katie Cassidy, than with Ms. Montag.

This week's Us Weekly has a four-page spread that tries to get to the heart of the matter. They rely on a couple of sources: Lauren, and a "source close to the couple." Hmm! Who??? Well, we've just gone ahead and made some edits to their item to get to the bottom of this confounding mystery.

Both Conrad and Wahler insist that the item—which included accusations that she tried to break into Wahler's house to steal back the vid and also takes attention deficit disorder drug Adderall—is a fabrication. "I don't understand how people can write things that just have no truth to them," says Conrad, 21. "If I ever tried to get something back from Jason, it was probably just lauren conrad photos and stuff. " As for the supposedly steamy tape? "Honestly, they videotape my life five days out of the week. I don't need additional footage, you know?" (However, according to a source close to the pair, who is the same person as Lauren Conrad, there is indeed a tape of the former flames "fooling around, but not having sex.") True or not, whoever leaked the rumor seems to have a vendetta against Conrad...

The Hollywood Gossip has no problem with Brody Jenner. He seems to be a decent guy who likes having a good time - and our girl, Lauren Conrad.
But for fans of The Hills clamoring for a season finale love declaration between this friendly pair of SoCal hotties, well, don’t hold your breath.
Rumored to be dating LC on and off for more than a year now, Brody Jenner denies that he and Lauren Conrad are an item - or really ever were.
Brody Jenner says he’s never really dated his friend Lauren Conrad.
“There’s nothing romantic — it’s never really been like that,” Jenner, 24, told People magazine Friday at New York City’s newly opened nightclub Touch.
“I love Lauren. She is a great friend of mine.”
Brody Jenner, who was in New York City promoting his new jewelry and clothing line, Archangel, was somewhat more noncommittal when pressed for details about The Hills‘ much anticipated December 10 season finale, however.

“My contract really doesn’t allow me to talk about that stuff,” Jenner said.
Hmmm. Interesting. There is supposed to be a “big announcement” made during the show or after-show, and we’re hoping that it means another season of TV’s guiltiest pleasure in the works. Or Brody saying he pimp-slapped Stephanie Pratt.

With southern California’s beautiful weather this time of year, it’s only natural that celebrities are taking to the streets like crazy. And Lauren Conrad has been making the most of the Los Angeles sunshine today.

This morning, the “Hills” hottie was spotted taking her new puppy, Chloe, for a morning walk. She kept warm with a big sweater overtop a tank top and matching stretch pants.

Lauren Katherine Conrad (born February 1, 1986), often referred to as "L.C.", is an American reality television star and fashion design student. She is best known for her role in the MTV reality series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and The Hills.
Lauren Conrad was born in Laguna Beach, California to James (Jim) and Katherine (née Lawrence) Conrad. Conrad has a younger sister, Breanna Christine Conrad (featured in Laguna Beach season three), and a younger brother. Conrad lived with her family in Laguna Beach throughout her childhood and high school years.

Conrad entered Academy of Art University in the fall of 2004. She met Heidi Montag (Conrad's co-star in The Hills) at freshmen orientation and the two immediately became friends. After only one semester, Conrad left San Francisco and moved back to her parents' house. Conrad transferred to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles and worked as an intern at Three Dots clothing company beginning in early 2005.

MTV renewed The Hills for a second season, which filmed from late summer of 2006 through February of 2007. Throughout that time the friendship between Conrad and Montag deteriorated as Montag increasingly spent her time with new boyfriend, Spencer Pratt. By February 2007, Audrina Patridge, another co-star on The Hills, replaced Montag as Conrad's roommate after Montag moved into a separate apartment with Pratt, effectively ending the friendship.
